Turtles In May 2009

It took an hour to get to Edisto Island for our turtle trip. It was on May 16, 2009 on Saturday afternoon. It was morning when we left. I took a picture of the turtle skull and shell. They had turtle eggs, the way to tell it's a boy or girl. The egg is male if it's 27 degrees or lower and female if it's 28 degrees or higher. At night, the beach has to be clean for the females to lay there eggs and to cover them with sand to protect them. I felt tired and thirsty, so I got water and it didn't taste like it, it tasted more like the beach. After walking for a bit, my dad and I got iced snowcones, mine was orange. I couldn't drink it all, although it was a small. We went to the pier, and there were no boats. It was cool and shady inside, there was a stuffed bobcat and crocodiles, movie or video of nature, sayings of nature on the phone, fake water with a fake crocodile, and a pretend ship that my dad took a picture of me with this. We watched the ending part of the video, the worker turned it up a little bit beacause it was a bit too soft sounding. After that, guitar music was playing then it started over again. Before all that, we were looking at little, medium, and big fossils like sharkteeth, vertebrae, bones, and more. After all that, we went to the beach, and to a resturant at Edisto Beach, I had a cheeseburger and fries, but I didn't eat all my cheeseburger and fries. I didn't drink all my water either. My dad got a picture of me at the beach. I didn't want to get my feet wet, because I had on jeans. I had a headache, so my mom got me some ages 2-11 pink medicane, I took 5 of them. After all that, we finally went back home. Although, it didn't take as long to get back home.
